Spotlighting Innovative Practitioners in Brazil

Global Treehouse is proud to present Spotlighting Innovation in Brazil, highlighting the exciting ideas shared at a recent conference in Brazil. The 1st International Congress on Humanization of Paediatric Pain Care was held at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), in Brazil, in May 2026. This significant event brought together clinicians, researchers, educators, technologists and service leaders to foster collaboration across disciplines and languages. The conference formed part of the Higher Education as a Driver in the Humanising of Paediatric Pain Care (HUPEDCARE) project, a European Union-funded international collaboration linking 15 universities across Europe, the Americas and Africa. A key highlight of the congress was the Brazil Innovation Awards. You can read all about the awards and context here

The groundbreaking initiatives are featured in the newly published Spotlighting Innovation in Brazil. Read it below and learn more about these inspiring practitioners and explore opportunities for collaboration.
