Strengthening Our Global Impact: Welcome Dr Milly Araujo

At Global Treehouse, our mission to transform children’s palliative care relies on building a powerful ecosystem of innovation and partnership. To continue supporting this kind of aspirational work, we are proud to deepen our capacity and partnerships.

We are thrilled to announce a significant addition to the Global Treehouse family: Dr Milly Araujo, who joins us to further accelerate our work. Milly's arrival comes at a pivotal time as we deepen our commitment to strengthening care systems globally and exploring how digital tools and AI can revolutionize the field. Her experience in Brazil and the United Kingdom will be crucial as we look ahead to new collaborative projects.

Dr Milly Araujo is a paediatrician and medical educator trained at the University of São Paulo (USP-SP), where she also served as an attending physician, with a background in Health Professions Education. She holds a Master’s degree in Palliative and End of Life Care from the University of Liverpool as a Chevening Scholar (FCDO UK). She currently works as a Visiting Lecturer in Children and Young People Palliative Care at the University of Liverpool and as an international consultant, she works on strategic projects in paediatric palliative care.

At Global Treehouse, Dr Araujo will expand Global Treehouse’s strategic engagement in Brazil, strengthening partnerships with local providers, advancing the use of tools such as the Magnify Tool, and contributing to the development of scalable models that connect practice and data across the field. We are confident that her leadership will significantly enhance our ability to deliver sustainable, high-quality palliative care systems worldwide.

My work has always been grounded in the belief that every child deserves compassionate, high-quality palliative care. That’s what drew me to Global Treehouse, and I’m excited to help translate that into impact through partnerships and solutions that bridge gaps in care in Brazil and beyond.
